Speaker selection will be enforced by the backend allowlist. No voice is currently sent to any Echo device.

Adult notifications

Mum’s personal jobs notify Mum; Duncan’s notify Duncan. Shared jobs and Rachel’s jobs notify both adults. Home jobs stay quiet.

The shared inbox works while the app is open. Turn on browser notifications separately on each device. Background push and SMS are not connected.

Shared live checklists

You each use your own account and share one private checklist. Invite the other adult below. They must join your household, rather than create another one.

Keep your setup

On the hosted app, completed jobs sync between signed-in devices. Keep exports as backups; a local HTML test file cannot sync. Imports replace the shared job list.

Privacy

Your checklist is shared with the two adult accounts in your household. Device preferences stay on each device. Invitation links expire after 48 hours and can be used once.
